Gaza - Saba:
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, confirmed on Saturday that the hospital is living another day with round-the-clock gunfire in the vicinity of the hospital.

Dr. Abu Safiya said in statements: "Yesterday, the area was targeted again, and shells landed on the third floor and at the doors of the hospital, fortunately, there were no injuries as a result of this shell; however, it caused terror and fear among the wounded, injured and children."

"So far, we have not received all the necessary maintenance supplies to maintain electricity, water, and oxygen; despite promises, we have unfortunately received nothing," he said.

"The World Health Organization was able to send only a small number of blood units - about seventy units - even though we need two hundred units," Abu Safiya explained.

"The Israeli occupation army has not agreed to allow the entry of all the required medical supplies, medical staff and nurses are prevented from entering,"
he said.

Dr. Abu Safiya continued: "About nine cases requiring urgent surgical intervention have been evacuated to Gaza City, while more than 72 injured people are currently in Kamal Adwan Hospital."

He continued: "The situation is critical, with a severe shortage of supplies, equipment, medicines , painkillers, and I strongly appeal to anyone who can provide these supplies to help us."

Abu Safiya said: "Food is also very scarce, and we cannot provide meals for the wounded at Kamal Adwan Hospital, calling on the world to urgently intervene so that food can be brought into the hospital, allowing us to provide at least one meal in 24 hours to the wounded, who clearly need nutrition during their recovery period."

"The medical staff in the hospital need meals, as they are working around the clock, yet we cannot provide them with food either," he said.
