Saada - Saba: A workshop to introduce the tasks of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society and the components of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement began in Saada Governorate today.
The workshop, in which twenty leaders from the governorate's general office and the Yemeni Red Crescent Society team, Saada branch, participated, aims to introduce the tasks of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society and the components of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and to review the activities implemented by the Society in Saada Governorate.
At the opening of the workshop, the Director of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society Saada Branch, Dr. Hassan Al-Mu'alif, indicated that the mission of the Society's branch in Saada Governorate is large and provides multiple services, pointing to a number of difficulties facing the Society, most notably the problem of illegal African immigrants.
He explained the necessary needs in order to provide care for them and transport them in the absence of the role of the International Organization for Migration, indicating that the Society is making limited efforts to address the situation of African immigrants, indicating that the Society has service centers.
