Dozens of international and Arab labor unions and federations responded to the call of the General Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions, which called for a global labor strike on October 7, coinciding with the anniversary of the World Day for Decent Work.

According to the Palestinian Information Center, the Secretary-General of the General Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions, Shaher Saad, explained in a statement, that many correspondences arrived from the International Trade Union Confederation and the Arab Trade Union Confederation, confirming their commitment to the 15-minute labor strike and supporting 500,000 Palestinian workers.
