Sana'a - Saba: The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights condemned the US-Israeli aggression aircraft for launching a series of barbaric raids on the capital Sana'a and the governorates of Hudaydah, Dhamar and Al-Bayda, targeting civil and economic objects and citizens’ homes, causing significant material damage to public and private facilities.
In a statement, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights considered the continued Israeli-American targeting of civilian facilities and objects a clear and blatant violation of Yemen's sovereignty, a violation of international humanitarian law and its rules, and a result of the weakness of the UN role and the duplication of international legal and humanitarian mechanisms.
It expressed its deep condemnation of the state of silence and absence of position by the United Nations and the Security Council towards the US, British and Zionist aggression against a sovereign state, without any expression, denunciation, condemnation or steps to stop what these countries are doing.
By committing these crimes in Yemen, Lebanon and Palestine, the Israeli-US aggression reaffirms to the whole world that terrorism is a US-Zionist industry, and that the hegemony and silence of these powers represent the greatest threat to all humanity and to international peace and security.
He stressed that this criminal aggression legitimises Yemen's full right to respond in defence of its sovereignty, independence and resistance to aggression using all means that guarantee its basic and legitimate rights, and will not deter the Yemeni position - leadership and people - from the right to support our brothers in Palestine and Lebanon, who are subjected to systematic genocidal massacres by the Israeli occupation with unlimited American and Western support.
The statement called on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nation and all free people in the world to escalate their positions rejecting the crimes and violations against Yemen, Palestine and Lebanon, and to press for holding the perpetrators of these crimes accountable and stopping the blatant interventions carried out by America and Britain in the region.
