Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer discussed with the Resident Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) Dr. Arturo Pesigan, aspects of joint cooperation between the ministry and the organization.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister emphasized the urgent need to provide health assistance to Al-Hodeida province, especially Al-Thawra Hospital Authority, which bears a great responsibility in providing medical services to the province and its districts, especially since the province recently suffered from the disaster of floods and floods that led to the spread of many epidemics, as well as the suspension of electric generators due to the fuel lack .
He stressed that the ministry is committed to implementing the program of the government of change and construction in providing all forms of facilities needed by international organizations operating in the country in the humanitarian , relief field, and removing any difficulties facing their work in order to enable them to play their role in serving the citizen.
For his part, Dr. Besigan explained that the World Health Organization office is committed to providing medical assistance, and that efforts are being made with donors to fund humanitarian projects in the health field.
