A meeting chaired by Hamoud Al-Naqib, head of the Social Affairs Committee in the Local Council of the Capital Secretariat, discussed the progress of the implementation of community initiative projects in the districts of the Capital Secretariat, solutions and treatments to ensure the speedy completion of the implementation of a number of them.
The meeting reviewed the obstacles that prevented the completion of the sewage projects for Jawalib Al-Sharqiya lane in Shaub district, Al-Baraka , Al-Arsad lane in Bani Al-Harth district, and the solutions to ensure the completion of the two projects.
The meeting also reviewed the drinking water network projects that have been implemented in a number of neighborhoods in the capital, projects under implementation, and new projects.
The meeting also approved the speedy resumption of work on the sewage project in Al Baraka and Al Arsad neighborhoods in Bani Al Harith district, starting tomorrow, Monday, as well as directing the speedy preparation for new projects.
At the meeting, the head of the Social Affairs Committee in the Secretariat explained that other meetings will be held to discuss the rest of the projects and follow up on the level of implementation of the decisions of the previous meetings.
He praised the interaction of citizens and their role in accomplishing community initiative projects.
