"Any threat against Iran will be met with a harsh , swift response, and we will not be lenient," Iranian Parliament's National Security Committee spokesman Ebrahim Rezaei emphasized.
"All Iranian agencies have the combat and defense readiness to confront any threat," Rezaei told reporters on Sunday during a meeting of the parliamentary National Security Committee.
"Fortunately, the various agencies have the necessary combat and defense readiness to face any threat, and today we are witnessing the highest level of this readiness," he added.
The parliamentary official also spoke about the options facing the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of threats. "In this meeting, it was emphasized that these options are diverse and that Iran's responses will certainly make the enemy regret its action," he said.
