Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad stressed on Sunday that al-Aqsa flood operation on October 7, 2023 led to the collapse of the Zionist narrative in the world, and renewed the nation's awareness.
Mahathir spoke at the opening of the seventh conference of Kuala Lumpur Forum for Thought and Civilization in the Turkish city of Istanbul, entitled "Palestine is the lever of civilizational awakening," which lasts for three days until Tuesday and includes seminars and sessions dealing with the Palestinian issue.
Mahathir, who is president of the forum, said in a recorded speech: Since its inception, the forum has not deviated from its main objective, which is to gather intellectuals , academics interested in the affairs of the nation and its well-being.
Mahathir emphasized that it is time to condemn the leaders of countries that support aggression against Palestine, Lebanon and Iran.
He added: "The least we can do when we feel helpless is to curse Israel, America and those involved in their crimes."
