Thousands of students demonstrated at several Moroccan universities on Wednesday in solidarity with Gaza Strip and Lebanon in the face of the Zionist genocidal war that has entered its second year.
This comes in conjunction with a one-day general strike in various universities in the country to demand an end to normalization between Morocco and Israel, in response to a call by the National Union of Moroccan Students, the largest student faction in the Kingdom.
Thousands of students organized demonstrations in support of Gaza and Lebanon in several universities, including Oujda (east), Agadir (central), Jadida and Kenitra (west), and Marrakesh (north).
The call for strikes and demonstrations came on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of the genocidal war committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza since October 7, 2023, with absolute American support, which resulted in more than 139,000 Palestinian martyrs , wounded, more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly.
Since last September 23, the Zionist enemy has expanded the scope of the genocide it is committing in Gaza, to include all regions of Lebanon, including the capital Beirut, through unprecedented air raids of unprecedented violence and intensity, as well as a ground incursion into its south, disregarding international warnings and UN resolutions.
