The branch of the Higher Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Hajjah governorate handed over to the local authority in Mustaba district, the rehabilitation project of Al-Hawl water damaged by the torrential rains.
The intervention implemented by humanitarian partners through the project, which cost 91 thousand dollars, included the rehabilitation and completion of all the old components of the project, "the well, the solar energy and water pumping systems, and the solar energy room."
It included the implementation of protection works with gibbons to protect the well, pumping room and solar energy system, which were damaged as a result of the floods, the implementation of a network of main and branch pipes of different diameters with a length of 14,500 meters, including the implementation of all accessories.
During the handover, the director of the branch of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Alan Fadayel, pointed out the importance of these sustainable projects that touch the needs of the region and alleviate the suffering of the displaced and affected people, which is an essential tributary to community development.
He emphasized that these projects receive the attention of the provincial leadership and the Supreme Council to provide clean drinking water, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of the displaced, deprived and affected people in the province.
The directors of the directorate, Ali Kashir and the Rural Water Department, Mohammed Qarya, praised the efforts exerted by the province leadership , the Supreme Council and their diligent follow-up to implement such vital and important projects that touch the concerns , suffering of the displaced and the host community in the targeted areas.
