Istanbul - Saba :
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan renewed his call for countries that have not yet recognized the State of Palestine to recognize it.
In a joint press conference held on Friday with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic during his visit to Belgrade, Erdogan noted that he and Vucic discussed the tragedy in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially Gaza and Lebanon.
He stressed the need to stop the Zionist entity's attacks that trample on human dignity.
President Erdogan added: "Nine countries have recognized the State of Palestine since October 7, 2023, and I renew our call from here for countries that have not yet done so to recognize it."
He pointed out that the international community has a fundamental responsibility to send the right messages to the Zionist entity and end the massacre it is committing.
