The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said that getting rid of the agency is almost certainly one of the war goals on Gaza and all of Palestine.
In his remarks at the United Nations during the ceremony to award the Nobel Peace Prize to a Japanese organization on Friday, Lazzarini added that if UNRWA had been selected for the award, "it would have been a great message to the Palestinian refugee community."
