Sana'a-Saba:
The Envelopes Committee of the General Authority of Zakat (GAZT) commenced on Sunday the tender process for acquiring, supplying, installing, and operating solar energy systems for the Authority's main office, as well as its regional offices and directorate branches, with an estimated cost of $226,000.

In its meeting, chaired by the Undersecretary of the Authority Ali Al-Saqqaf and in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Awareness and Rehabilitation Sector Ahmed Megally, the committee opened the envelopes of five tenders that included the purchase, supply, installation and operation of solar energy systems for the offices of the General Authority of Zakat in the Capital Sanaa, and the governorates of Sana'a, Amran, Hodeida, Sa'ada, Hajjah, Al-Jawf, Raymah, Al-Mahwit, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Bayda and Al-Dhale.

The tenders also included the purchase, supply, installation and operation of solar energy systems for the offices of the General Authority of Zakat in the districts of Azal, Maeen (A) and (B), Tahrir, Al-Thawra (A) and (B), Seventy (A), (B), (C), Al-Safiya, Unit (A) and (B), Bani Al-Harith (A) and (B), and the peoples of (A) and (B) and Old Sana'a in Sanaa City.

At the meeting, Undersecretary Al-Saqqaf urged the committee to analyze, evaluate and select the best offers according to the specifications contained in the tender documents.
