Amran - Saba:
Amran Governor Dr. Faisal Jaman has inaugurated multiple solar-powered water projects in the districts of Jabal Iyal Yazid and As Sudah, with a total cost of $368,000, supported by CARE International.

Governor Jaman, accompanied by the director of the Humanitarian Affairs Council in the governorate, Himyar al-Saar, launched the Sarara Beit Al-Haritha water project. This project features a solar energy system with a capacity of 45,000 watts and a submersible pump unit of 26 kilowatts, costing $52,000. Additionally, they inaugurated the Beit Wahfan water project, which comprises a solar energy system with its accessories, at $57,000.

The Beit Al-Wadaei water project was also inaugurated, which includes the installation of a solar energy system, the maintenance of a former reservoir, the supply and installation of a 30 kW submersible pump and a 37 kW submersible electric motor at a cost of $ 86,000.

In As Sudah district, the Amran governor inaugurated the Soumali water project, which includes the installation of a solar energy system and electric submersible pumping units, at a cost of $173,000 in five phases with a seven-kilometer pumping length covering the district's isolation and benefiting 11,000 people.

During the inauguration, the Governor of Amran stressed the importance of opening water projects that serve the community in the areas of the two districts.

He stressed the need to maintain water projects that contribute to covering the needs of citizens' drinking water. He noted the support of CARE International in supporting rural water projects.

Governor Jaman pointed out the need for humanitarian interventions in the governorate to contribute to financing sustainable projects due to the lack of such projects in remote and deprived areas.
