The Russian Pacific Fleet said in a statement today that "Russian and Chinese ships conducted exercises to counter an enemy missile attack in the Pacific region."
According to the statement, live ammunition was fired as part of air defense and anti-submarine defense exercises, and a detachment of ships in the designated area searched for a hypothetical enemy submarine and trained to chase it. A few days ago, a group of Russian and Chinese ships began joint patrols in the Asia-Pacific region after participating in the "Cooperation-2024" Baibo maneuvers.
