Gaza - Saba:
Qassam Battalions, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, on Thursday released a female Zionist soldier from Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday, coinciding with the handover of a male and female prisoner by the Al-Quds Brigades from Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, the first release ceremony took place in Jabalia camp, where the Qassam Battalions handed over the Zionist soldier Agam Berger to the Red Cross from the rubble in the Al-Alami area of Jabalia camp, which was destroyed by the enemy during the war of extermination, in the presence of a large Palestinian presence.
Soldier Berger emerged from the rubble of Jabalia camp accompanied by members of the "Shadow Unit" in Hamas, then climbed to the platform that the movement had prepared in the area to complete the handover ceremony.
The prisoner appeared to be in good health, while waving her hand to the Palestinian crowds present at the scene, wearing a military uniform and carrying gifts from Hamas.
Qassam Battalions fighters carried the Zionist "Tavor" weapons, which they had seized during the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood.
The Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements announced the completion of the necessary procedures to hand over the Zionist prisoners in the third batch today, Thursday, from the north and south of the Gaza Strip, as part of the "Flood of the Free" deal.
The military spokesman for the Quds Brigades Abu Hamza said that the procedures for handing over both prisoners "Arbil Yehud" and "Gadi Moses" had been completed, and they will be released today in the city of Khan Younis.
The Quds Brigades and Qassam Battalions fighters spread out in the prisoner handover area in Khan Younis, which is in front of the house of the former head of the Hamas movement, the martyr Yahiya Sinwar.
This coincided with Qassam Battalions preparing the procedures for releasing the third female prisoner from the destroyed city of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
In both places, Palestinian resistance vehicles from the Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements appeared, amidst Palestinian crowds of residents who will witness the prisoner handover process.
In Jabalia, groups from the Qassam Battalions were deployed at the location of the third prisoner's handover, amidst the destroyed houses in the city.
Palestinian flags were raised, and a banner hung by Qassam Battalions bore the logos of the military brigades in the occupation army, "Nahal, Kfir, Givati, and 401", which were subjected to deadly ambushes and suffered heavy losses during the battle in northern Gaza.
This is the third batch in the first phase of the ceasefire, according to which 110 Palestinian prisoners will be released, 32 of whom are life prisoners, 48 prisoners with high sentences, and 30 child prisoners.
The batch of life prisoners to be released today includes 16 prisoners from the Fatah movement, 11 from the Islamic Jihad movement, two from the Popular Front, two from the Democratic Front, and one from the Hamas movement.
