The Information Ministry announced the winners of the National Flag Photo Contest.
The first prize of 500,000 riyals was won by Mohammed Yahya Salem Al-Ajami, for his photo of the flag with Holy Qur'an in Sabeen Square, which expressed the inseparability of the national identity and faith of the Yemenis.
The second prize of 300,000 riyals was won by Al-Hassan Ali Al-Husseini Musleh, with a photo that combines the Yemeni and Palestinian flags and the name of the Messenger of Allah (S), taken in Ibb province, expressing the unity of the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples, that the Messenger of Allah is a unifier of Muslims of all sects, and that the Yemenis will never abandon the Palestinians.
The third prize of 200,000 riyals was won by Hajar Ali Muhammad Jamil with a photo showing children raising the flag in one of Sana'a's old neighborhoods with the beauty of its architecture and the authenticity of its residents, which combined science and the rising generation armed with science and love of the homeland.
The ministry said it added a fourth encouraging prize of 100,000 riyals, which was won by Mohammed Saleh Abdullah Al-Qadi for his participation in a photo taken in Hajjah of two children trying to fix the national flag, in an expression of the keenness of generations to the flag and that they will continue to hold on to it.
