A central event was held on Tuesday in al-Hesn district, Sana'a province, to mark the first anniversary of Operation al-Aqsa flood themed "A Flood Towards Liberation."
During the gathering, District Director Khalil Abu Alamah emphasized that Operation al-Aqsa flood reignited the spirit of resistance among free individuals and delivered a significant blow to the Zionist entity and its Western supporters, particularly the United States.
Abu Alamah praised the operation as a resounding victory for the resistance and a substantial defeat for Israel.
He highlighted the steadfastness of the Lebanese and Palestinian resistance movements, which have launched heroic operations against the Zionist entity, resulting in considerable human and material losses. He reiterated the Yemeni people's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause through all available means.
Cultural activist Abdullah al-Sufi spoke about how al-Aqsa Flood operation reinvigorated the Palestinian cause, thwarting the Zionist entity's expansionist ambitions in the region. He condemned the atrocities committed by the occupying forces against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, criticizing the West's hypocrisy in proclaiming support for human rights while backing such aggression.
Following the event, residents of al-Hesn district organized an armed mass demonstration in solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and to denounce the ongoing crimes of the Zionist-American alliance against Gaza.
Participants chanted slogans denouncing the aggression and expressing their solidarity with Palestine and Lebanon.
A statement released during the vigil condemned the inaction of Arab regimes regarding the Zionist violations of international humanitarian laws and norms.
The statement called on the global Islamic community to demand an end to the aggression in Gaza and to increase media efforts to expose the ongoing atrocities committed against the Palestinian people, highlighting American complicity in these actions.
The participant's statement reaffirmed their full support for the Yemeni armed forces’ missile and air strikes and expressed their commitment to the resistance movement, pledging readiness to mobilize under all circumstances.
