Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Jamal Amer, held a meeting with Dr. Tamer Ramadan, the head of the delegation for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Yemen.
During the meeting, the Minister conveyed gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the government for the humanitarian efforts of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies delegation in Yemen, particularly for delivering urgent humanitarian and relief aid to the areas most in need.
He called on the IFRC delegation to focus on long-term humanitarian and development projects in cooperation with the Yemen Red Crescent Society.
Dr. Ramadan, IFRC Head of Delegation, thanked the IFRC for the cooperation and support the IFRC receives from the government and the Yemen Red Crescent Society.
He stressed the continued presence of the mission in Sana'a and the work to increase humanitarian projects, especially in the field of environmental sanitation and water.
