Sana'a - Saba: What was achieved in the martyrdom of the heroic leader and head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Yahya Sinwar, may be equivalent to what was achieved in the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle during a year of steadfastness and heroism; or it can be said that it represented a fortification for it.
The Shield
Although this battle has returned the Palestinian cause to the heart of the world's attention after its file had been placed in the drawer of forgotten things, the martyrdom of the leader Sinwar has created a strong shield for this battle in the global collective consciousness through what the brave leader appeared in confronting the occupier.
The martyrdom of Sinwar caused a shock to the Arab and global consciousness in their relationship with the Palestinian cause; as the incident of martyrdom came with its heroic details to form a strong fortification for the cause and the battle; in terms of presenting the Palestinian fighter in a way that is not new from what was presented by the first and second Palestinian intifadas and on the path of the Palestinian struggle over seven decades; But this time, for the first time since the 1940s, the leader presented a brave man in the field, full of composure, courage, and conviction of a brave resistance fighter.
The leader is the one who bears the responsibility of drawing up plans and managing operations; but presenting the leader in a heroic scene in the battles of confronting the occupier in the field represents a reinforcement of the culture of resistance; because the leader's participation in the fight with all this courage confirms to the world that the battle is a battle of a cause and injustice; which means the fall of all Israeli narratives about the Palestinian resistance.
Also, the heroic scene of Sinwar in his last moments reinforced the narrative of Palestinian injustice that world public opinion began to understand and realize its correctness; and thus Sinwar's martyrdom came, especially after a misleading Israeli narrative; so that the world realizes that the sacrifices made by the Palestinian people from the top of the pyramid to the bottom are not terrorism, but a legitimate struggle in the face of an occupier whose only work is to practice killing and destruction. Sinwar's shield of courage was enough to confirm Palestinian heroism and injustice at the same time.
The Lesson
Also, the martyrdom of Sinwar provided a parallel lesson to the importance of the shield of courage and bravery; it is the restoration of the principle of sacrifice, this principle that the Israeli enemy and its Arab mercenaries have done a lot to dwarf and marginalize this principle, realizing its danger, and perhaps this marginalization and belittling of its value represented the introduction to marginalizing the importance of the Palestinian uprising in the Arab mentality; which is the action that the enemy began working on since the signing of the Oslo Accords in the early nineties.
After the martyrdom of the leader Sinwar, the principle of sacrifice and redemption is no longer a matter of difference in viewpoints; the world that has awakened after decades to the injustice of Palestine; has become more certain today of the right of the Palestinian people to regain their land and establish their state.
The video clip of the last moments of Sinwar's martyrdom was enough to tell the world that what the Palestinian resistance is practicing is a resistance for which even the leader bleeds, whose martyrdom restored the values of courage, sacrifice and redemption; so what after the leader enters the battle bravely and sacrifices his soul in redemption for his cause?!
