Occupied al-Qids - Saba:
As the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip continues, met by the "unparalleled steadfastness" of the Palestinian people and the "courage of their resistance," protests have reportedly escalated within the "Zionist enemy entity" demanding an end to the ongoing aggression.
Over the past few days, there has been a significant increase in voices emanating from within the "enemy's" military and civilian institutions, reportedly warning of the dangers of prolonging the war. These voices suggest that the continuation of the aggressionis pushing the "Zionist entity" towards an "internal explosion" that could potentially lead to its demise and plunge it into chaos.
Furthermore, reports indicate that the internal divisions exacerbated by the war may ultimately compel the "entity" to view negotiations as its only viable option moving forward.
The stage of these protests began when about a thousand reservists of the Zionist Air Force signed a petition expressing rejection of the policy of the ongoing war in Gaza. The letter contained clear calls for the cessation of military operations, as the signatories warned that continuing this approach could lead to the death of prisoners and the loss of the lives of innocent soldiers and civilians.
According to reports, the letter was not an explicit call to refuse service or mutiny, but its signature was enough to cause serious concern in the ranks of the leadership of the Zionist enemy.
On a broader level, although the enemy leaders tried to suppress this protest quickly by dismissing those who signed the petition and accusing them of betraying the interests of the entity, but this protest was extended after a number of Marines, officers in the Air Force, Navy, armored vehicles and hundreds of former soldiers joined this protest, demanding in New petitions to stop the war and return the prisoners.
In this, the Zionist website "Channel 13" said that soldiers in the Reserve from the "8200" unit of the intelligence division, joined the call for the pilots to stop the fighting and return the prisoners.
The petition, which has been signed by hundreds of current and former soldiers so far, states: "We support and sympathize with the dangerous and disturbing statement that the war at this moment primarily serves political and personal interests, not security interests."
The soldiers added that" the continuation of the war does not contribute to any of its stated goals, and will result in the death of prisoners and IDF soldiers,"and"we see with concern the erosion of the reserve forces, the high percentage of soldiers not joining the reserves, and we are worried about the future effects of this trend.
"We do not accept the reality that the political level of the war continues for granted, without any clarification to the public about the strategy to achieve the goals of the war, while we see that Hamas controls the Gaza Strip and recruits new activists in its ranks, while the government does not offer a convincing plan to overthrow it,"the soldiers continued.
"Every passing day endangers the lives of the prisoners, and every additional moment of hesitation is a disgrace,"they stressed.
A similar petition against the war on the Gaza Strip was signed by more than 150 former Zionist officers of the Zionist Navy . The officers admitted, according to the Zionist newspaper Haaretz, that "the resumption of fighting distances the recovery of prisoners, and endangers the soldiers".
"Instead of focused steps to push a deal for the return of prisoners, we are witnessing government behavior that undermines the foundations of the state, damages public confidence, and raises serious suspicions that security decisions are made based on illegitimate considerations,"they said in their petition.
Not only that, 100 military doctors in the Reserve also signed a petition calling for a cessation of hostilities and the return of prisoners.
According to the enemy army radio, these doctors wrote in their petition : "as officers, we serve in the Reserve formation, and as an expression of mutual responsibility in the "Israeli" society, we warn that the continuation of the fighting and the abandonment of prisoners is contrary to values, and with the commitment of the doctors ' Corps not to abandon any of its elements.
Also, the Zionist "Channel 12" reported that about 2,000 faculty members in higher education institutions joined the protest petition on Gaza.
The channel quoted the statement of the academics, that " only an agreement can return the prisoners, while military pressure often leads to their death," stressing that the war "now mainly serves political and personal interests, not security interests.
The acceleration of these movements within the military establishment reflects a widening rift between the enemy's political and military leadership and its soldiers. In this context, the Zionist magazine "972+" revealed in a recent report that the occupation army is facing the largest refusal to serve in the military in decades, with more than 100,000 reservists stopping their calls for conscription, while a growing number of them are refusing to participate in the war on Gaza for moral reasons or protest.
The magazine indicated that official figures regarding the response of reservists are inaccurate, asserting that the actual rate does not exceed 60%, while other reports have shown a decline to approximately 50%, reflecting a clear decline in the legitimacy of the war, which has been ongoing for more than 18 months.
The report noted that the phenomenon of refusal began to escalate during the protests against judicial amendments in 2023, when more than 1,000 pilots and air force personnel threatened to refrain from service if the occupation government continued its policy.
In response to these actions, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a war criminal, accused the signatories of the petitions of "refusing to perform military service," a charge denied by the signatories, who are demanding an end to the war in order to return Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip. He also described the signatories of the letters as "a small, isolated group of retirees," claiming that the vast majority of them "did not even serve for years in the Israeli army."
In a swift response to Netanyahu's statements and his refusal to stop the war and conclude a prisoner exchange deal, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert strongly warned that Israel is "closer to civil war than ever before."
Olmert noted, in statements reported by Israeli media, that "in such a short period of time, no real strategic outcome can be achieved in the war." He suggested that military pressure would likely not persuade Hamas to release the prisoners, and noted that the intense fighting amounts to a death sentence for an unknown number of those still alive.
He also said, "This is Netanyahu's peace war, a war of deception driven not by strategic or political thinking, but by Netanyahu's personal and political need to continue the war in order to prevent the collapse of his government and his exposure to investigation in his trial and by a government commission of inquiry."
Here, many analysts confirm that the expansion of protests opposing the continuation of the war is a looming indicator of the outbreak of a civil war within the Zionist entity. This is what military and strategic expert Nidal Abu Zeid pointed out. In an interview with the Algerian newspaper Al-Watan, he highlighted the presence of field and analytical evidence that warn of a real danger facing the Zionist entity. He emphasized that what is happening could "open the door to an unprecedented crisis, not only at the military level, but within the political structure of the Zionist entity as a whole."
Abu Zeid pointed out that "the crisis is likely to expand, as it has begun to infiltrate other forces, such as the infantry, armored vehicles, and military doctors. It is also likely to spread to the civilian sector, particularly in the fields of education and services, and even within the intelligence services, which have begun preparing to submit similar petitions."
He added, "This context falls within what we have repeatedly emphasized, namely that the structure of the Zionist occupation army has begun to erode from within, as a result of declining trust between the political and military levels."
He continued, "This crisis not only threatens the unity of Zionist society, but also opens a deep wound between the Western and Eastern Jews who currently hold power, and the military class, which has historically been associated with the Ashkenazim."
Abu Zeid stated that "the gap is no longer limited to politics and the military, but has also reached into disagreements within the components of the government itself, manifested in the escalating tension between Netanyahu and some of his ministers, on the one hand, and the judicial leadership, which refuses to dismiss the attorney general and the head of the Shin Bet, on the other."
While Abu Zeid believed that Gaza played a pivotal role in fragmenting the Zionist enemy's military structure, evidenced by the dismissal of nine senior generals, including the former chief of staff and the defense minister, he noted that "the current confrontation with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza will lead to the fragmentation of the political structure of the Zionist entity as well."
Military expert Nidal Abu Zeid concluded his statement by emphasizing that "these rifts will translate to the resistance's benefit, by pushing the Zionist enemy toward the negotiating table after its military failure and its intransigence on the ground."
