Sana'a - Saba:
It was a home brimming with life and tranquility, with children running around, laughter warming its walls, and a simple Yemeni family living their days with hope, despite the challenges, no one expected that this house would turn into a mass grave in an instant.
On Sunday evening, an American missile pierced the silence, like a predatory beast, devouring the house and everyone inside, within moments, everything was reduced to ash, bodies were scattered, walls collapsed, and screams rose from beneath the rubble.
The house, which had been a shelter for Saleh Al-Suhaili's family, no longer stands, four members of his family were martyred instantly, while more than 25 family members were wounded by deadly shrapnel, including women and children. Some are still fighting for their lives in intensive care.
There was no military site, no ammunition depot, and no armed personnel in that house, it was just a simple Yemeni family like any other member of society. Yet the American decision was clear: "There is no safe place in Sana'a, everyone is a target. There is no distinction between civilians and military sites."
A crime without justification or warning, even the aircraft were not heard, as if they were adept at killing silently, it was not a scene from a horror movie, but a full-blown American crime, in the heart of the capital, Sana'a, in full view of the world.
The rubble of the house was intermingled with children's dreams, school books, and Eid clothes that had not yet been worn, Amid the rubble, a burned doll was found, along with photos, simple utensils, and limited family furniture.
The same image has become a symbol of tragedy today, an image that encapsulates the pain and exposes American terrorism, which doesn't need trials to prove its crimes, but rather a global conscience that has long since ceased to function.
Neighbors rushed to the scene, barefoot and stunned, unable to comprehend what had happened, the scene at the hospital was even more horrific, Citizens flocked from every direction to help, carrying the injured and wounded on their shoulders, emergency rooms were packed, and medical teams raced to save the wounded.
Young children, whose eyes held dreams and hopes for the future, were the most affected, and their wounds were deeper than description, those injured in the massacre didn't know why they were targeted. They wondered: Are we a threat to America? Is this house a threat to American national security? What logic would it take to send a missile to kill this family?
On social media, angry voices erupted, and people circulated photos of the victims and the destruction of the house, accompanying them with the hashtag "American terrorism." As usual, Arab media outlets supporting the enemy only mentioned the incident as fake news, justifying the crime with an unprecedented fallout, without clearly addressing the crime itself.
But even more abhorrent was the gloating and justification shown by the mercenaries on television and social media platforms, they appeared to blame the victims and treat the crime as a normal occurrence, instead of condemning the American criminal, they promoted false interpretations to justify this criminal act, some even went so far as to claim that the strike was "justified" in an attempt to obscure the truth and distort reality, completely ignoring the human tragedy caused by this heinous crime.
This American terrorism, which targeted the Al-Suhaili house in the Shaab Al-Hafa area of the Shu'ub district in Sana'a, is one of the crimes that the American enemy continues to commit in various Yemeni governorates amid international silence, Arab complicity, and support from agents and mercenaries who have abandoned humanitarian values and principles for a handful of money, they do not value the blood of innocents, but rather continue to cover up these crimes with flimsy justifications, not only in an attempt to justify the killing, but also to distort the facts.
Today, the people of Shaab Al-Hafa stand in front of the destroyed house, reciting the Fatiha (prayer for the souls of the martyrs) and, with their tears, writing a new story of Yemeni pain, this crime may be forgotten in the news, but it is etched in the city's memory.
What happened in Sana'a was a perfect crime, its title being "American terrorism." Yemen, despite its wounds, will certainly not forget, nor will it remain silent about its rights, even after a while.
This crime is merely the latest episode in a chain of moral and human decline that the world has reached amid shameful international silence and Arab complicity. In this tragedy, we see how the global conscience is transformed into a neglected arena, where blood is washed away with lies justified by a mercenary media that continues to distort the facts.
Yemen, despite its pain, will not forget, and history will record that this land was and continues to be a resistance against all forms of terrorism, whether from abroad or from within.
