Musa Abu Marzouk, deputy head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), emphasized that Hezbollah, Yemen, Iraq and Iran stood by the oppressed in Gaza Strip, thanking them for their efforts to support Gaza.
"There are voices from Lebanon saying that the support front announced by Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah did not benefit the Gazans and did not relieve the pressure, but on the contrary, it brought woes to Lebanon," Abu Marzouk told Russia on Friday.
In response, Abu Marzouk said: "We say that our brothers in Hezbollah stood by the side of the oppressed in Gaza Strip, as well as all those who helped us in Yemen, Iran and Iraq, we say thank you, may God reward you well, you did your duty."
He added: "The whole nation should do what they did, and if the nation and the whole region did what they did, the picture would change at all."
In response to the question, "Has the Lebanon Front weakened the Zionist military presence in Gaza?" Abu Marzouk said: "Certainly, there are dozens of "Israeli" brigades that left Gaza Strip and went to northern Palestine fighting Hezbollah in the south, these were all in Gaza Strip, yes, Hezbollah fought a battle for the oppressed in Gaza Strip, and for the future of Lebanon, and did not fight in vain, but fought men with duty."
