Sana'a - Saba: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expected relatively cold weather in the highlands, and partly cloudy in the coastal and desert areas during the next 24 hours.

The center reported in its weather bulletin that it expects clear to partly cloudy and relatively cold weather during the late night and early morning hours in the governorates of Al-Bayda, parts of Ibb and Al-Dhale'e, Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran and Sa'dah, with scattered rain sometimes accompanied by thunder in parts of the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, Al-Mahwit and Hajjah and the west of Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran and Sa'dah, and on the highlands of Tihama.

According to the center, the weather is likely to be partly cloudy with scattered rain accompanied by thunder on the Tihama plain and the western coasts, and the winds are moderate to active, reaching a speed of 28 knots in the southern parts of the western coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

In desert areas, clear to partly cloudy weather is expected, with light to moderate winds ranging in speed from 10 to 20 knots, which may raise dust and sand.

The center urged citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients, workers during the late night and early morning hours, and travelers, to take the necessary precautions against the relatively cold weather.

It warned against being in valleys and flood paths during and after rainfall, thunderstorms, and poor horizontal visibility on roads and western mountain slopes due to dense low clouds, mist, and fog.

It also warned seafarers and fishermen in the south of the west coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab of rough seas and high waves.
