Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi participated in a ceremony today in Sana'a to showcase the Economic Stimulus Program for the year 1446 AH - 2024, organized by the Ministries of Economy, Industry, Investment, Finance, Transport, and Public Works, with the attendance of various stakeholders.
The program, developed by the Ministries of Economy, Industry, Investment, and Finance, includes 11 initiatives aimed at boosting investment, enhancing the business environment, promoting community-based economic activities, supporting local industries and localization efforts, and establishing mechanisms for state land management. It also aims to support both public and private sector investments and revitalize and regulate the real estate development sector.
Additionally, the program outlines collaborative efforts to update maps and data for the oil and mineral resources sector, and joint initiatives to strengthen the telecommunications and information technology sector in coordination with the Ministries of Communications, Information Technology, and Oil and Minerals. It also includes aligning educational outcomes to support economic stimulation in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and providing continuous media coverage from the Ministry of Information to monitor and report on the progress of the economic stimulus initiatives.
In his speech, Prime Minister Al-Rahwi emphasized the significance of the program and its essential steps for economic stimulation at the national level. He highlighted the program's collaborative spirit and its strategic objectives, which are designed to account for the current circumstances and effectively leverage available resources for the benefit of the Yemeni nation and its people.
