The local authority in Bani Hushaish district of Sana'a province on Wednesday launched the annual Martyr's Day activities and events under the slogan "Men who have been true to what they promised God."
In the event, attended by Shura Council members Mohammed Mufaddal and Fadl Mani', the Director of the District, Rajih al-Hanmi, stressed the importance of commemorating this great occasion to learn about the extent of the martyrs' sacrifices and heroism, and to instill them in the souls of the rising generations.
He stressed the need to benefit from commemorating this occasion in learning about the situation of the families of the martyrs, their children and relatives, and to do everything possible to care for them and provide their necessary needs.
In the event, he reviewed the implications of this great anniversary and its great status in the hearts of all the sons of the homeland.
He stressed the importance of continuing activities and events on the occasion and educating society about the dangers of soft war and thwarting the enemies' plans aimed at destroying the homeland and tearing apart the national unity.
He called for continued steadfastness, perseverance and readiness to confront the American-Zionist-British aggression and support the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
