Today, Ibb University organized a scientific symposium on the occasion of World Quality Day, with the participation of representatives of a number of universities in the governorate.
In the seminar, which was held under the slogan "Quality is everyone's responsibility", the President of the University, Dr. Nasr Al-Hujaili, stressed that quality is an entry point for the advancement of the country because of its great importance in translating the values of the true Islamic religion in various areas of life.
He explained in the first working paper, which he presented during the symposium, that Ibb University seeks to enhance institutional building, translate all quality standards, and academic accreditation, especially with regard to infrastructure and laboratory, program descriptions and courses, and control the inputs of the educational process, in order to reach outputs that meet the requirements of the labor market.
He pointed to the steps taken by the university in developing the educational process and harnessing self-resources to meet the needs necessary to apply quality standards while ensuring the activation of the evaluation, evaluation, and update process in order to enhance strengths and address weaknesses.
In the second working paper, presented by the Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Ibrahim Haidara, the steps taken by the Center to obtain national and international academic accreditation were reviewed, and the Center's role in consolidating a culture of quality, and describing and updating programs.
The seminar included a third working paper, presented by the Deputy Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Muhammad Al-Qawas, entitled "Quality Culture and its Role in Improving University Education Outcomes", and another paper presented by the Quality Consultant, Dr. Mujib Al-Saidi, entitled "Quality Indicators and their Role in Improving Performance at Ibb University".
