A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Customs Authority and the Public Funds Investigation (PFI) was signed in Sana'a on Monday.
The MoU, signed by the head of the Customs Authority, Engineer Adel Merghem, and the Director of the Public Funds Investigation, Brigadier General Yousef Al-Qasimi, included cooperation in the field of training and qualification, unifying concepts in the legal and procedural aspect, exchanging data and information on joint cases and works electronically, in addition to providing mutual support according to work requirements , seeking network connectivity and automation between the two sides.
The memorandum aims to strengthen the partnership and cooperation between the authority and various entities related to customs work.
Following the signing, the head of the authority and the director of the Public Funds Investigation Directorate inspected the workflow of the operations room, video surveillance, the customs police sector and the customs cultural institute.
