The General Mobilization Office in Bani al-Harith district in the Capital Sana'a on Wednesday organized two cultural activities and opened a photo exhibition to commemorate the annual Martyrs' Day.
The activities and exhibition, held in al-Hataresh and Dhaban neighborhoods, were attended by local officials and community members.
District director Hamad bin Rakan al-Sharif emphasized that the events reflected the community’s loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs and their significance in the hearts of the people.
Bin Rakan highlighted the importance of Martyrs' Day as a time to draw lessons from the martyrs' positions and sacrifices, urging the continuation of their path in resisting oppression and supporting the oppressed within the Islamic nation.
Al-Sharif also underscored Yemen's principled stance in supporting Gaza, Palestine, and Lebanon, which reflects the nation's faith-based identity and its role in opposing tyranny.
