Leaders from the Political Bureau of Ansarullah and the coalition of political parties opposing the aggression visited on Thursday the shrine of the martyr President Saleh al-Sammad and his companions in al-Sabeen Square, in commemoration of the annual Martyr's Day anniversary.
The delegation included Mohammed Shawka and Adnan Abu Talib from Ansarullah's Political Bureau, along with coalition members Saleh Sael, Musleh Abu Shaar. They recited al-Fatihah for the souls of President al-Sammad, his companions, and all the martyrs who gave their lives for the defense of Yemen.
Shawka emphasized that the Martyr's Day anniversary is a critical moment to honor the sacrifices of the martyrs and reaffirm the commitment to their struggle.
He stated that the sacrifices made by President al-Sammad and other martyrs have been vital in defending Yemen’s land, sovereignty, and dignity against foreign aggression, particularly from the U.S., U.K., Israel, and Saudi-led forces.
Shawka stressed the importance of continuing to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs and resisting foreign occupation and aggression until victory is achieved.
He praised the martyrs' heroic contributions to national pride, security, and sovereignty, noting that their sacrifices have been crucial in Yemen's struggle for independence and freedom from foreign interference.
Shawka highlighted the significance of Martyr's Day as an occasion to honor the fallen heroes and to renew the resolve to fight for Yemen's independence, stability, and national unity.
