Bayda - Saba:
The General Electricity Corporation (GEC) confirmed that the trial operation of government electricity in its network in the Al-Bayda Electricity Zone will begin next Saturday, Jumada Al-Awwal 21, 1446 AH.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the corporation explained that the trial operation includes the districts of Al-Bayda city, Al-Bayda countryside, Al-Sumaa and Dhi Na'im, as part of its efforts to reconnect the government electricity supply to citizens in these areas.
The Corporation urged citizens to exercise caution and not to approach the components of the electrical network, including high-pressure lines, stations, transformers, and poles, in addition to refraining from building in the paths of the network, in order to preserve public safety.
It called on everyone to adhere to safe distances and standards to avoid any damages or risks that may result from violations, emphasizing that it disclaims responsibility for any consequences or damages that may be inflicted on those who violate electrical safety rules.
