Sana'a - Saba: Yemenis remember in the month of Jumada al-Awwal every year the sacrifices and giving of martyrs for the sake of Alla, religion and homeland, with the heroic deeds they left behind that history will immortalize in its brightest pages.
The annual anniversary of the martyr for the year 1446 AH comes, and the Yemeni people enjoy security and stability as a result of the great sacrifices made by the martyrs over a decade of confronting the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition, reaching direct confrontation with the forces of hegemony and arrogance led by America, Britain and the Zionist entity.
The means and methods by which the Yemeni people commemorate the annual anniversary of the martyr have varied, through central activities in ministries, institutions and bodies, as well as executive offices in governorates and directorates, to draw inspiration from the lessons of sacrifice and redemption from those who gave their lives cheaply in order to raise the banner of truth and eliminate falsehood.
The activities of the annual Martyr's Day were not limited to the commemorative events for the martyrs, but included visits to the martyrs' graves, their families and relatives, including the contribution of community activities in providing condolences and moral support to the families of the martyrs, and even reached schools to acquaint students with the value and greatness of martyrdom and the status of the martyrs with God Almighty and their eternal sacrifices in confronting the forces of the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression.
The annual Martyr's Day receives official and popular attention, most notably the attention of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, to embody the will of the Yemeni people to be loyal to the blood of the martyrs and renew the pledge to follow in their path and continue on the path they have taken in confronting tyranny and arrogance.
This anniversary is an important annual milestone in the history of modern Yemen, which has made and continues to make great sacrifices to achieve freedom and dignity and get rid of the forces of guardianship and foreign hegemony that have oppressed the country for decades and have soon conspired again with an international coalition in an attempt to break the will of the Yemenis who chose to confront in the fields of heroism and have not surrendered throughout history to an invader, intruder or occupier.
Since the aggression was launched on Yemen on March 26, 2015, the heroes of the armed forces and the sons of Yemen have raced from every direction to the battlefronts to confront the aggression coalition and its tools, relying on God for victory and empowerment over the coalition led by America with Saudi and Emirati support. Among them, brigade leaders, officers, individuals and volunteers were martyred, and their memory has become immortal, from which generations draw inspiration for the meanings of freedom, the values of giving and not submitting to the forces of hegemony and guardianship.
It is worth noting that the anniversary of the martyr this year coincides with the Yemeni people making additional sacrifices by supporting the central and first cause of the nation, "Palestine" and the right of the Palestinian people to freedom, dignity and the establishment of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Yemen's entry into the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle to support the Palestinian people who are being subjected to a war of genocide by the Zionist entity, supported by America and Europe, is not to show off or show strength, but rather out of a humanitarian and religious duty, which Yemen took to prevent ships linked to Israel from reaching the occupied Palestinian ports, which resulted in the bankruptcy of the "Umm al-Rashrash" port and inflicting heavy losses on the temporary entity in the economic and investment fields.
In this regard, the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, confirmed that "one of the announced and explicit results of the Yemeni military operations supporting the Umm al-Rashrash port is the bankruptcy of the port of Umm al-Rashrash, and media reports from inside the port showed that it was completely paralyzed from any activity."
He pointed out that "after the great success and victory in preventing navigation in favor of the Israeli enemy in the Red and Arabian Seas, and the Gulf of Aden, the scope of operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces has become very far."
The Leader said, "The battle that the support front is fighting in Yemen of faith, wisdom and jihad is in a wide theater, and there is great control over the situation by our forces at the level of our close range in preventing navigation for the Israeli enemy, and targeting ships linked to the enemies in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea."
The sacrifices of the martyrs, which were crowned with great victories, will remain a source of inspiration for generations to follow, and their heroism will remain a source of pride and honor not only for their children and grandchildren, but also engraved in the conscience of all Yemenis in the north, south, east and west of the country.
