Beirut - Saba:
Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said on Sunday that the Zionist attack on the Lebanese army is a "bloody message" that reflects the enemy entity's rejection of all efforts to reach a ceasefire in Lebanon.
Mikati added that the Zionist raid, which targeted a military center in the southern Lebanese town of Amiriya, killing one Lebanese soldier and wounding 18 others, reaffirms the Zionist entity's insistence on military escalation and rejecting international efforts aimed at reaching a ceasefire.
He emphasized that this attack is a new escalation in a series of Zionist attacks on the Lebanese army and citizens, holding the international community responsible for the silence in the face of these ongoing attacks.
He stressed that the targeting reflects the Zionist entity's repeated defiance of UN resolutions, especially Resolution 1701, which calls for the cessation of hostilities and the implementation of a truce in the region.
