Hodeida - Saba:
On the occasion of the annual Martyr’s Day, the local authority and General Mobilization in Kamaran Island district of Hodeida province initiated the distribution of gifts and food baskets to the families of martyrs.
The assistance, provided by the Zakat Authority and the Naval Forces, aims to honor the sacrifices made by the martyrs' families and to ease their hardships amid the ongoing challenges facing the country.
During the inauguration of the distribution event, district director Abdulqader al-Madani praised the efforts of both the Zakat Authority and the Naval Forces for their cooperation in supporting the families of martyrs.
He emphasized the importance of remembering and honoring the families of those who sacrificed their lives for the defense of Yemen’s sovereignty, independence, and dignity.
Al-Madani highlighted that supporting the families of martyrs is not only a duty for specific institutions but a collective responsibility that should involve the entire society.
Such actions, he said, help to foster social solidarity and charity, particularly during the annual commemoration of Martyr’s Day.
The event served as a gesture of gratitude and recognition for the families’ immense sacrifices and reinforced the community's commitment to supporting them in their time of need.
