Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects varying intensity rains in a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.
According to the weather bulletin issued by the center, varying intensity rains are expected, sometimes accompanied by thunder, in the governorates of Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Al Dhale'e, Raymah, western Dhamar, Al Mahwit, Hajjah and western Sa'dah, and in the governorate of Aden.
It indicated that the rains may extend westward to parts of the highlands, plains and coasts of Tihama, and eastward to the coasts and highlands of Abyan, Shabwa and Hadhramaut.
The center reported that the amount of rain that fell during the past 24 hours and was measured at the meteorological monitoring stations in Ash Shihr - Hadhramaut: 10.2 mm, Ibb: 4.3 mm.
Varying intensity rains also fell in parts of the governorates of Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj, western Taiz and western Mahwit and were outside the scope of the monitoring stations.
The center warned citizens against being in valleys and torrents, and against the decrease in horizontal visibility on mountain roads due to dense low clouds, fog or rainfall.
