Tehran-Saba:
The second phase of the "To Quds" exercise began on Friday in Iran with the participation of 60,000 popular mobilization forces in the city of Ahvaz in the western province of Khuzestan.
IRGC commander-in-chief Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, who attended the exercises, said: "The Iranian people must be certain that we will take revenge on Israel... The Israelis these days do not feel calm, everyone lives in shelters, and panic prevails in their ranks. Israeli officials are confused and depressed, and their army is exhausted, unlike the Lebanese resistance and the resistance front, whose engine is active and on fire."
60,000 Popular Mobilization Forces, which include 250 battalions, are participating in the exercises, in addition to mobilization forces from community segments.
The first phase of the exercise took place yesterday at the level of the province's cities with tactical exercises, civil defense, popular assistance work, and emergency relief and rescue operations.
The second phase will be held today in Ahvaz, with the participation of the mobilization battalions and in the presence of military, civilian, and local officials, and this major exercise aims to achieve the directives of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in maintaining the country's strength and enhancing its defense capabilities, in addition to raising the level of readiness and combat efficiency of the mobilization forces.
