The Youth and Sports Office in Marib province on Monday organized a speech event marking the anniversary of the martyr and the launch of the Martyr's Football Championship, which is being held by Serwah Club.
During the event, Dhaifullah Rassam, the Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, emphasized the importance of commemorating the martyrdom anniversary to embody the values of faith, revive the culture of jihad, and reinforce the principles of steadfastness and resilience in the face of the enemies of the Islamic nation.
He also highlighted the vital role of youth in defending their religion and homeland.
Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabeeh Abu Shusaa and First Deputy Governor of Marib Mohammed Alwan stressed the significance of organizing sports tournaments to immortalize the sacrifices of the martyrs in the hearts of young people and to inspire them by learning about the heroic deeds that the martyrs accomplished for the sake of God, defending religion, land, honor, and national sovereignty.
The event, attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Ali Hadban, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in Marib Qaed Nimran, and Sheikh Mohammed Ali Haidar described the annual martyrdom anniversary as an important moment to remember the bravery and lasting contributions of the martyrs.
The event also praised the organization of the sports championship as a means to engage the youth of Marib in honoring the legacy of the martyrs.
