The World Health Organization described on Monday the current situation in Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip as "tragic" amid the ongoing Zionist genocide crimes in the Strip.
According to Sama News Agency, Director of the Organization, Tedros Ghebreyesus explained in a post on "X" platform that 14 people were injured in the past 48 hours in Kamal Adwan Hospital as a result of an intense attack by the Zionist enemy army.
Ghebreyesus explained that the hospital director Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya and some doctors were among those injured in the Zionist attacks.
He added "This situation is very tragic, and there are still many injured in the hospital and intensive care rooms."
Abu Safiya continued "The attacks on Kamal Adwan Hospital must be stopped immediately and a safe passage must be provided for the humanitarian mission so that medical teams can be deployed and supplies provided to the remaining patients."
Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya was injured on Saturday evening, when the hospital was targeted by Zionist drones in the Beit Lahia project, north of the Gaza Strip.
