On a daily basis and under the eyes of the world, the Zionist enemy continues its aggression against hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip in a clear targeting of the health system in the devastated Strip, which results in martyrs and wounded among patients and medical staff, in addition to causing significant damage to hospitals.
On Tuesday, the Zionist enemy forces continued to target "Kamal Adwan" Hospital in the northern besieged Gaza Strip, which led to the injury of a number of patients and wounded.
Palestinian medical sources reported that the Zionist enemy forces forced the wounded and patients to evacuate the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, on foot, amidst intense artillery and air shelling that targeted the hospital's departments and surroundings.
Medical sources indicated that about 20 people were injured in Kamal Adwan Hospital, as a result of the ongoing bombing operations in its courtyards, amid Palestinian calls for urgent international action to protect the health system and hospitals in the Gaza Strip from the Zionist aggression.
Director General of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip Munir al-Barash stated on Saturday evening that the Zionist enemy army had launched a comprehensive attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.
Al-Barash said "The enemy forces are asking the crews to evacuate Kamal Adwan Hospital immediately, threatening the lives of 80 patients."
He added "The enemy bombed the hospital during a visit by a delegation from the World Health Organization, and arrested an injured person from among the hands of the WHO delegation."
Al-Barash stressed that "the world has begun to deal indifferently with the atrocities committed by the occupation against medical crews and patients."
Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital Hussam Abu Safiya pointed out that the Zionist enemy army is launching "an intense and very violent bombardment of the hospital, in an unprecedented manner and without any prior warning on the care and nursery department."
Abu Safiya continued saying "The bombardment is taking place with bombs, explosives and tank fire, targeting us directly while we are inside the hospital departments."
Abu Safiya held the world responsible for what is happening to them, demanding that they assume their responsibilities towards their suffering, which is unacceptable for the world to remain silent and unable to protect the health system.
He said "We are being attacked in front of everyone's eyes, while the whole world is watching, and yet no one intervenes to confront this barbarism."
At the beginning of the Zionist war of extermination on the Gaza Strip, the Baptist Hospital massacre occurred, which was met with a wide Arab and international campaign of condemnation, to the point that the Zionist enemy denied its responsibility for bombing the hospital, accusing the resistance of doing so, then it was the turn of al-Shifa Hospital, and the excuses of the usurping entity were that Hamas was using it as its headquarters.
Despite the international laws that criminalize targeting hospitals, classify them as a war crime, and that they are facilities subject to immunity, the failure to implement these laws prompted the usurping entity to repeat the same act.
With 446 days having passed since the start of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, targeting hospitals in the Strip has become a routine matter in front of the eyes of the world, without the need for pretexts to justify it. It has become clear that the destruction of hospitals is part of the policy of destroying homes and infrastructure in Gaza, to eliminate the manifestations of life.
The Zionist enemy did not target a single hospital in Gaza, but rather bombed several hospitals at the same time. While it was blowing up and exploding buildings around Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia project, it was besieging the Indonesian Hospital and forcing those inside to evacuate it, while it was bombing al-Awda Hospital with an artillery shell in the northern Gaza Strip.
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hussam Abu Safiya, was injured a month ago as a result of the Zionist bombing of the hospital, and he published a video clip of a Zionist mechanism placing a large wooden box, which he said were "robots" placing boxes of explosives at the hospital gates.
All this is happening amidst a siege of fire that the enemy army has been imposing on the hospital for weeks, while military vehicles advanced towards it four days ago.
The situation is not much different in the Indonesian Hospital east of Jabalia, as the Zionist enemy forced those inside it, including medical staff, patients and displaced persons, to evacuate immediately and head to Gaza City, amid heavy gunfire towards its gate and shelling of its surroundings.
It is noteworthy that the three hospitals, Kamal Adwan Hospital, al-Awda Hospital and the Indonesian Hospital, were targeted and besieged, and Kamal Adwan Hospital is the only remaining hospital in the northern Gaza Strip that provides some medical services to patients and the wounded.
The recent operation in northern Gaza caused the health system to go out of service, and the Civil Defense and Palestinian Red Crescent ambulances stopped working, amid a severe shortage of medicine.
With American support, the Zionist enemy continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the martyrdom of 45,338 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 107,764 others, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
