New York - Saba:
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) revealed on Saturday, that pediatric and neonatal hospitals in Gaza Strip "lack sufficient medical equipment and work in extremely difficult conditions", in light of the Zionist genocidal crimes that have been going on in Gaza Strip for more than a year and a half.
In a post on its account on the X platform, UNICEF said that "the survival of Gaza's children depends on the re-imposition of the ceasefire and the entry of aid into the Strip."
It emphasized the need to allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza again.
"Gaza's hospitals, which treat newborns and children, lack sufficient medical equipment and operate in extremely difficult conditions," UNICEF said.
Commenting on the suffocating siege imposed by "Israel" on Gaza for about seven weeks, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said in a report on Friday.
UNRWA explained that 420,000 people have been displaced again in Gaza Strip since March 18 as a result of renewed "Israeli" attacks.
