The Israeli occupation's aggression on the city and camp of Jenin enters its fourth month, amidst the bulldozing and burning of homes, and the conversion of others into military barracks.
According to the Palestinian News Agency, Israeli soldiers arrested two young men from the town of Araba, south of Jenin, at dawn today after raiding and searching their homes.
This morning, Israeli enemy vehicles, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the town of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, and deployed throughout its neighborhoods, firing live ammunition at civilians.
The occupation continues to send military reinforcements, accompanied by fuel tankers, from the Jalameh checkpoint to the vicinity of Jenin camp.
Enemy bulldozers have placed earthen berms around the Tawalbeh Mosque at the northern entrance to Jenin camp, while drones continue to fly over the city and camp.
Israeli forces raided several villages and towns south of Jenin. Occupation forces stormed the towns of Jaba', Arraba, and Siris, south of the governorate, and Burqin, west of the governorate, where they arrested Ramzi Khalouf from his home.
Jenin Governor Kamal Abu al-Rub said in a statement on Sunday that efforts are ongoing to resolve the temporary displacement crisis in the Jenin and Tulkarm governorates by providing caravans on plots of land near the camps.
According to Abu al-Rub, the number of displaced persons has reached 21,000, distributed throughout the governorate. There are 6,000 in the city, 3,200 in the Arab American University dormitories, and Burqin is hosting 4,181 displaced persons.
The Israeli army continues its military training around the Jalameh military checkpoint, north of Jenin, where live ammunition is occasionally fired in the vicinity of the uninhabited Jenin refugee camp.
A group of settlers stormed the site of the settlement, which was built on the lands of the town of Sanur, south of Jenin, and was evacuated in 2005. They planted several trees.
The number of martyrs in the Jenin Governorate since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the city and refugee camp 90 days ago has reached 38, with dozens more injured and dozens more detained.
