The Ministry of Public Works and Housing in Gaza confirmed today, Wednesday, that the Zionist enemy army destroyed 70 percent of the housing sector in Gaza Strip, as a result of the aggression that began on October 7, 2023.

The ministry said in a statement: The enemy destroyed 170,000 units completely and 80,000 residential buildings partially, while the number of housing units that were partially destroyed but fit for habitation amounted to 200,000.

It pointed out that these statistics are preliminary, due to the difficulty of assessing the damage, and in light of the ongoing war.

According to data from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the number of martyrs and injuries as a result of the Zionist-American aggression on Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 45,361 martyrs and 107,803 injuries.
