The Syrian Armed Forces continued to repel a large-scale terrorist attack launched by terrorist organizations in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib, inflicting heavy losses in terms of equipment and lives.
“The armed terrorist organizations under the so-called “Al-Nusra Front” in Aleppo and Idlib countryside launched a large attack on Wednesday morning with large numbers of terrorists, using medium and heavy weapons, targeting safe villages and towns and our military points in those areas,” SANA news agency quoted the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces as saying in a statement on Thursday.
The command added: “Our armed forces confronted the terrorist attack, which is still ongoing, and inflicted heavy losses on the attacking terrorist organizations in terms of equipment and lives, and our forces are confronting the terrorist organizations with various means of firepower and in cooperation with friendly forces.”
