Sana'a - Saba:
Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi, alongside the Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water Dr. Ali Saif and Mayor of Sana'a Dr. Hamoud Ubad, inaugurated several key service projects in the capital Sana'a.
The projects, valued at 413.8 million YER, are funded by the local council and focus on improving roads across Sana'a.
The projects include the rehabilitation and maintenance of the Dhahban and Palestine Street entrances in Bani al-Harith district, and Street 16 in Beit Mu'ayad neighborhood of al-Sabeen district.
These works are being carried out by the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges under the supervision of the Works and Projects Sector.
In addition, the Prime Minister and officials launched road rehabilitation projects in Maeen, al-Thawra, al-Tahrir, and al-Sabeen districts, totaling 360 million YER. These projects focus on Madbah Street, Amran Street, and various sections of Safar, Iran, and Beirut Streets.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister and Mayor of the Capital inaugurated three service projects in the health and education sectors, worth 243.3 million YER. These include the rehabilitation of the psychiatric hospital in Jadr Medical Complex, the expansion of Abdullah Hanish School, and the restoration of Maeen Girls' School.
The officials also reviewed the progress of a rainwater drainage project in Jadr area, Phase II, with a budget of 168 million YER. The project aims to construct a 298-meter concrete drainage channel to manage flood and rainwater.
