Hajjah - Saba:

The Heart and Cardiac Catheterization Center at Kuwait University Hospital in the capital Sana’a, in partnership with the Health and Environment Office in Hajjah province will launch three free medical camps to commemorate the annual anniversary of the martyr. The camps will last for two days.

One of the camps will be held at Abs General Hospital, focusing on the treatment of heart diseases, high blood pressure, internal medicine, diabetes, brain and nerve conditions, digestive system issues, liver and kidney diseases, as well as general and orthopedic surgery.

In addition, the camp will provide services in vascular surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric care, and offer free medications for chronic conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

A second camp will be hosted at Martyr Yasser Wathab Hospital in Khairan al-Muharraq district. This camp will focus on obstetrics and gynecology, heart and blood pressure treatments, internal medicine, diabetes care, pediatric services, and urology. Like the first camp, it will also provide free medications for chronic diseases.

The third camp will be held at the health center in Ahem, located in Kushar district. It will offer treatment for eye diseases and surgeries, as well as services for heart and blood pressure issues, diabetes, pediatrics, general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, and obstetrics and gynecology. Free medications for chronic diseases will also be distributed.

Dr. Ahmed al-Kuhlani, Director of the Health and Environment Office in Hajjah province, explained that these medical camps are being held in line with the directives of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to alleviate the suffering of the poor, the needy, and low-income individuals.

Dr. al-Kuhlani expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Health leadership and the local governorate to organize these camps, which are being held for the first time in the region.

He also thanked the consultants and specialists for their participation and acknowledged the contribution of pharmaceutical companies in supporting these initiatives.
