The Zionist newspaper "Yediot Aharonot" revealed a new incident in the ranks of the "exhausted" occupation army related to the suicide of a Zionist soldier after his return from combat.
The newspaper said in a report: "The body of a reserve soldier was found in an apparent suicide."
According to the testimony of his wife, the soldier did not receive proper psychological treatment, which prompted him to commit suicide "often".
On Wednesday, the so-called head of the "National Council" for Suicide Prevention in the occupation entity warned of a "mental health tsunami" and fear of an increase in the number of suicides with the end of the war.
Earlier, Zionist security reports indicated that the number of soldiers seeking psychological treatment has increased by 172 percent in the ranks of the occupation army with psychological crises until 2030, while the percentage of psychological disabilities was monitored at 61 percent.
The same data indicated that the Department of Rehabilitation of Disabled Soldiers in the Zionist Army was taking care of about 62,000 disabled people, including 11,000 with psychological disabilities.
For the first time, according to War Ministry projections, the number of disabled people will rise to 78,000 by the end of this year, including 15,000 with severe disabilities, and that this number will rise to 100,000 in 2030, recording an increase of 61 percent, including 30,000 with psychological disabilities, an increase of 172 percent in the number of psychologically disabled people.
