Sana’a - Saba:

Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi visited on Monday the Martyr of the Qur’an School for Sharia Sciences, located at al-Firdaws Mosque in Shu’ub district of the capital Sana’a.

Accompanied by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Mohammed al-Mahdi and First Undersecretary of the Capital Sana’a Khaled al-Madani, the Prime Minister reviewed the ongoing educational activities at the school.

The school offers lessons in Sharia sciences, including the memorization of the Holy Qur’an, Arabic language, history, mathematics, and English.

Additionally, the school nurtures gifted students by teaching them the art of public speaking and developing their talents in this field.

During the visit, Eng. al-Mahdi and al-Madani listened to a detailed explanation from school principal Ibrahim al-Muayyad about the educational process and the efforts made by the administration and teaching staff.

These efforts are focused on building a generation grounded in the teachings of the Qur’an and Islamic sciences, who will defend their nation’s identity and contribute to countering the cultural challenges posed by enemies.

The Prime Minister encouraged the students to work diligently and persevere in their studies, both in Islamic sciences and in other academic subjects.

Addressing the students, he said: “We want you to master the Arabic language, excel in its various branches, and prioritize the acquisition of knowledge, as we face our enemies with piety and trust in Allah first, and knowledge second. We must equip ourselves with all the means of knowledge and preparation to confront the enemy.”

He underscored the importance of education and constant fortification to prevent any enemy infiltration into the ranks, values, and morals of the proud and free people of Yemen.

The Prime Minister also praised the efforts of the school administration and its teaching and administrative staff.
