Al-Bayda - Saba:
Afar Customs Center in Al-Bayda Governorate destroyed a quantity of capsules, pursuant to a seizure report by the Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control.
The Director of the Center, Fahd Hazaa, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the destroyed quantity amounted to ten cartons of a cream preparation in the form of capsules that violate the approved standard specifications.
He pointed out that the destruction process was carried out in accordance with the procedures followed and in the presence of representatives of the relevant authorities, stressing that there will be no leniency in seizing expired, smuggled, and non-conforming goods that are not permitted to enter.
Hazzaa noted that customs is the first line of defense in seizing and destroying expired and non-conforming goods.
