Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Administration, Local and Rural Development Mohammed Al-Madani discussed on Saturday in his meeting with Abdullah Haider, Chairman of the Economic and Development Integration Committee, the mechanisms of integration to be implemented in the ministry.
In the meeting, which was attended by Deputy Minister Nasser Al-Mihdhar, members of the committee , a number of undersecretaries and assistant undersecretaries, Al-Madani directed to facilitate the tasks and work of the committee to ensure the achievement of the desired goals.
He pointed out the importance of the organizational restructuring process to ensure good administrative performance , optimal implementation of plans and programs.
He stressed that the ministry's role is strategic, which calls for aligning its tasks and powers to match its new functions, of which local and rural development is at the forefront.
For his part, Haider emphasized the committee's keenness to accomplish its tasks as soon as possible to ensure the completion of tasks and works. He pointed out the importance of the ministry being a model for the rest of the agencies and ministries, as it is concerned with creating local and rural development in all administrative units, including provinces and districts.
He pointed out that the expansion of the ministry's tasks and powers necessitates giving the merger process the attention it deserves, commensurate with the size of its new tasks and functions. He explained that the task of the committee's team, which is composed of several entities, is to create a new system and structures to ensure the development of administrative performance.
