Hajjah - Saba:

The Women's Committee in Hajjah province on Saturday organized a series of cultural events to commemorate the birth of Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and to show solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The events, held across several districts including Hajjah center, al-Shahil, al-Mahabsha, Kushar, Qara, al-Miftah, and Mustaba, emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from Fatima al-Zahra's virtues, values, and steadfastness.

Speakers highlighted her exemplary faith, moral perfection, and the role she plays as the ideal model for women of faith.

The speakers also called on women to strengthen their awareness of their role in building resilient families and societies, praising the sacrifices of the mothers and wives of martyrs who embody these values.

The speeches reflected on Fatima al-Zahra’s life, drawing lessons from her character and emphasizing the importance of her legacy in confronting the challenges faced by the Yemeni people today, particularly in the face of foreign aggression.

The gatherings also recognized the vital role Yemeni women play in resisting Zionist-American aggression, positioning them as powerful symbols of resilience and sacrifice.

In addition to the cultural activities, solidarity stands were held to express support for the Palestinian people, with participants chanting slogans against the Zionist-American-British alliance.

They praised the operations of the Yemeni armed forces deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories and demanded more strikes to stop the aggression and lift the siege on Gaza.

The sit-ins condemned the ongoing crimes of the Zionist entity in Gaza, calling for greater solidarity from Arab and Islamic countries to support the Palestinian resistance.

A statement issued during the sit-ins praised the military efforts in Jaffa and called on free women across the Arab and Islamic world to take action in support of Gaza’s oppressed population.

The statement urged the armed forces to continue their operations in solidarity with Palestine until the aggression ends.
